Volunteers act as the strings that weave together communities across the amateur sport system. From April 19-25, the selfless dedication of volunteers will be celebrated under the theme of ‘Ignite Volunteerism.’

Sask Sport knows volunteers bring heart to the communities in this province. As part of the celebration, we are saying thank you to the more than 330,000 volunteers in Saskatchewan, who help make sport, culture and recreation possible. 

If you know of a volunteer who you think should be recognized for their dedication over the years, consider nominating them for the Saskatchewan Sport Awards Volunteer Dedication Award.
