In 2004, Wanda Cameron first stepped into the amateur sport community as part of Sask Sport and over the last two decades, she has spent her time fostering connections that will continue to benefit groups across the province for years to come.
When she initially joined the organization, Cameron began in the Trust area as an Admin Assistant, before she transitioned into Sport Division as a Funding Consultant in 2010, where she has since remained for the last 16 years.
It is through that role that she became vital in the support of communities and programs across the province. No matter where she was, or who she was speaking with, Cameron built genuine connections across Saskatchewan.
As of June 26, Cameron will embark on a new journey in retirement, which will give her plenty of opportunities to cheer on the Beardy’s Blackhawks and spend time with her grandchildren.
“Wanda has spent years cultivating relationships and building trust, both in and outside of the organization, that will continue to be felt for years to come,” said Rob Kennedy, Director of Sport. “Thank you for your years of commitment to building a stronger future for communities in Saskatchewan.”
Sask Sport would like to congratulate Wanda Cameron on her incredible career that she has spent supporting communities in Saskatchewan.
