The 2026 Commonwealth Games will bring together competition and comradery as Glasgow, Scotland officially kicks off the event with Opening Ceremonies on Thursday.
Since previously being hosted in 2022 by Birmingham, England, the Games will see Canada’s contingent of 153 individuals congregate from July 23 to Aug 3. Olympian and Commonwealth Games champion, Erica Wiebe, will help lead Canada throughout their time in Glasgow as Chef de Mission.
There are seven athletes, one coach and three support staff members with ties to Saskatchewan that will take part in the Games.
