Sask Sport/Sask Lotteries – Trust Fund Summer Student

We are seeking an energetic university student who is looking for professional experience in an office setting. This role will support the work of Sask Sport and Sask Lotteries. This position will play a significant role in the follow up process for the Community Grant Program.

Type: Full time, Term
Duration: May 1, 2025 – August 22, 2025
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Support to the Community Grant Program
- Assist with review and processing of Community Grant Program follow up reports
- Ensure all grant information is entered into our database
- Edit, copy and distribute grant letters sent out to communities
- Maintain filing system of grant information
- Reporting on information to Community Grant Program coordinator
- Other duties as assigned related to granting
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Initiative-taking and enthusiastic
- Work with minimal supervision and ability to problem solve
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work with deadlines and multiple projects with high level of attention to detail
- Ability to make decisions based on program guidelines
- Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point, etc.)
- Knowledge of and experience in database entry
- Positive attitude, creative thinker, willing to contribute to building a professional, fun, supportive and dynamic team
Qualifications and Experience
- Current post-secondary student in business, kinesiology or another related field
- Experience with non-profit sport, culture and recreation sectors considered an asset
