Provincial Sport Organizations include Provincial Sport Governing Bodies (PSGBs) or Multi- Sport Organizations (MSOs) that are members of Sask Sport and on the Minister's eligibility list.
Grants programs for eligible provincial sport organizations:
Sask Sport Inc. provides core funding to Provincial Sport Governing Bodies (PSGBs) and Multi-Sport Organizations (MSOs).
Membership Assistance Program (MAP)
Sask Sport Inc. provides funding through the Membership Assistance Program to enable provincial sport organizations to allocate funds directly to their respective clubs, leagues, or other affiliated members, to increase the number of participants and the quality of sport development in Saskatchewan communities.
Club, league, and team inquiries on this grant program should contact the Provincial Sport Organization directly.
To support regional, national, and international amateur sport events hosted in Saskatchewan. Provincial Sport Organizations must apply on behalf of the hosting community or organization.
High Performance Athlete Assistance
Saskatchewan Program for Athletic Excellence
The Saskatchewan Program for Athletic Excellence provides additional direct financial assistance to Saskatchewan's High Performance Athletes who are carded at the national level by Sport Canada.
Future Best supports the developmental needs of Saskatchewan athletes who have been identified by the National Sport Organization (NSO) as clearly demonstrating the potential to become a national senior team member and those who are seriously committed to attain this status through intense training, technical development and competitive success.

Adaptive Sport Grant Programs
Adaptive Sport Equipment Grant
The cost of specialized (adapted) equipment for athletes with a disability to participate in sport is a significant barrier to their participation. The purpose of the Adaptive Sport Equipment grant is to assist in removing this barrier and provide financial assistance for the purchase of adapted equipment for people with a disability to participate in organized sport programs.
Adaptive Sport Club Development Grant
The purpose of the Adaptive Sport Club Development grant is to provide financial assistance to support new developmental programs in communities or the expansion (enhancement) of existing sport programs for persons with a disability.

University Sport Funding Programs
University Athletic Assistance Program
To provide financial assistance to eligible Provincial Sport Governing Bodies (PSGBs) in support of U Sports athletic programs at the University of Regina and the University of Saskatchewan.
University PSGB Student-Athlete Awards Program
To assist student-athletes competing in U Sports for either the University of Regina or the University of Saskatchewan, through a provincial awards program in partnership with participating Provincial Sport Governing Bodies (PSGBs) and the Universities.
